talkConmigo was formed in Barcelona in August 2006.
Its founders, both being foreigners are only too aware of the difficulties of picking up a new language, especially as an adult. Over the last few years we have both found intercambios to be a highly useful and enjoyable means of learning Spanish.
It was these experiences that triggered the idea of creating a site dedicated to language exchange...and one especially for Barcelona, also providing information about events, cultural activites nightlife etc.
From the outset, we wanted to produce something much more than just a simple message board. Our plan was to provide a central location for anyone interested in meeting others for language exchange. An online community...
